Tirreno is an excellent strong plant, but late in its segment (Macigno and Proteo). It produces round to slightly high-round fruits with uniform sutures. The netting is thick. Tirreno has a good inside quality with good flesh structure, although a slightly thick green rind. The taste and sugar content (brix13-15°) are excellent.
