Chatoyant is a dark green Piel de Sapo with a good plant and average vigour. It produces a good number of side shoots. The fruits are dark green, which do not colour to brownish green when mature. The netting is very thin and therefore gives a glossy appearance. The taste is crispy and attractive. Chatoyant has a small seed cavity. It has improved shelf life over standards, which makes it suitable
