Vespolino is a variety which really contributes something the range of tomato types : a distinguished shape, a warm attractive dark red fruit colour and outstanding fruit quality. Fruits are a mix between an elongated plum shaped fruit and a  “Mini San Marzano”-type.  Trusses are well shaped, uniform and present well. Split fruits and russetting hardly occur. It's perfomance in long cultivations through the winter is spectactular.
