Job description

The Portfolio Management department is responsible for optimizing the commercial Enza Zaden assortment. As a portfolio manager you are the link between the Research & Development, Sales and Seed Operations departments. In this varied and internationally oriented position, you are responsible for the product management and you pro-actively promote the product and sales developments in fruiting vegetables. This involves intensive contacts with our subsidiaries and customers and providing both technical and commercial support. You will initiate product meetings and you will visit our (international) trials and production locations. Moreover, you will provide input to the seed production department based on your sales, budget and market analyses. In this position you will report to the Manager Portfolio Management.

Job requirements

We are looking for enthusiastic candidates with at least a Bachelor degree and who, after an intensive training period, will be able to independently take on the responsibility for our fruiting vegetables. You are a team player that is well capable of setting up and maintaining both internal as well as external relationships in an international working environment with a great diversity of people. You have a flexible and enterprising attitude and a clear understanding of commercial matters. Moreover, we expect you to have thorough knowledge of horticulture. Thanks to your expertise and creativity, you are able to convince people. An excellent command of the English language, both written and verbally, are of course essential. Given the international character of this position, you are also willing to travel frequently.
