We are looking for a result driven, creative and experienced Breeder with excellent analytical, communication and managing skills.
As Breeder in our Pepper Department, you will be responsible for the development of new varieties. You will create and maintain breeding programs that will be managed under your direction. To this purpose you will create a long term vision based on the latest market developments.
You will be working in an international operating breeding team, which means that you will frequently have contact with your colleagues abroad. This includes regular travelling.
You will report to the Research manager, South East Asia.
You are an enthusiastic and creative entrepreneur with a long-term vision on breeding. You are on top of the latest market developments and able to translate these to your breeding program. In this process, you are able to connect with internal and external parties.
You have excellent analytical, communication and managing skills. Furthermore, you are familiar with novel molecular breeding technologies and you are able to implement these in your breeding program. Additionally you are not afraid to make decisions and you function well in an international team.
