As a Seed Operations Manager for US/Canada, you will be responsible for all matters within the local organization that concern Seed Production, Logistics, Seed Processing (seed cleaning/conditioning/enhancing, packaging and shipping) and Quality Control.
As the department head for the logistics hub of the America’s, the scope of your responsibility begins with ensuring proper production planning and ends with ensuring final delivery of high quality products.
To accomplish this, you focus on building strong teams that operate with a high degree of cross-functional collaboration. You will have continuous contact with producers and international colleagues on the progress and quality of the seed production as well as the optimization of processes within logistics and warehousing.
The department of Seed Operations is your workplace. You will report to the VP of Global Logistics and will collaborate with other managers around the world responsible for Seed Operations in other regions. You will direct, coach and motivate the local teams of Seed Production, Seed Processing and Logistics, ensuring the team works in a cohesive way and is able to perform at their best. In addition, you will join the local country leadership team responsible for ensuring national cohesion between all functional disciplines.
