Spicy hot pepper smoothie 

A smoothie is the ideal way to add lots of fruit and vegetables to your daily diet – quick, easy and flavoursome. Need some extra energy? This vitamin drink bomb with fresh red chilli pepper will give your day a real power boost. 

Ingredients

  • ½ red chilli pepper
  • ½ stick of celery
  • Small handful of parsley
  • 200 ml tomato juice
  • 100 ml water
  • 1 tbsp balsamic vinegar
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Few drops of Worcestershire sauce

Garnish

Piece of celery stick and/or parsley

Preparation

Remove the seeds from the pepper. Rinse the celery and slice into chunks. Place the pepper and celery in the blender first and then add the rest of the ingredients. Blend until smooth. Pour the smoothie into two glasses and garnish with celery and/or parsley.
