In the past 25 years, Vitalis Biologische Zaden has undergone a major development worldwide by close cooperation with professional organic vegetable growers, seed producers, and other chain partners.
Additionally, the close cooperation with all departments of parent company Enza Zaden has contributed to this development. It is a combination of the best of both worlds: the organic mission of Vitalis and the innovative strength of Enza Zaden.
An organic vegetable breeding company in heart and soul, Vitalis has a rich history, which literally and figuratively has its roots in Voorst. This authentic place is and remains Vitalis’s organic key location for breeding, seed production and demo fields.
Due to the business growth, the logistic facilities of the company will be moved to Enkhuizen. The construction activities for the new, future-proof facility at the Enza Zaden site are in full swing. As from January 2020, Vitalis seeds will be processed and packed in this new facility.
