Bartok is a half long eggplant for greenhouse cultivation in warm areas.
The fruits are very dark, very firm with long shelf life, due to a green compact spineless calyx.
The fruits are on average a bit smaller than most other varieties, but this is compensated in a higher number of fruits. In high tech crops, the use of a vegetative tomato rootstock is advised.
