Fruit Logistica Berlin 2018

Researchers in action

Did you ever wonder if you are you a super taster? During the Fruit Logistica visitors could test this at the Enza Zaden booth. And just a few people got a positive answer on this question!

Capital

From 7 till 9 February, Berlin was transformed into the capital of the global fresh produce sector. More than 3,100 exhibitors from over 80 countries presented a comprehensive market overview during the Fruit Logistica.

Great place to meet

Enza Zaden was well represented during this event with a brand new booth and an international team. Chris Groot, Produce Chain Manager: “Every year the Fruit Logistica is a great place to meet international relations. We’ve made a lot of contact and had interesting meetings."

Post-harvest researchers

This year, the post-harvest researchers of Enza Zaden were present at the booth. In their special lab area they showed the visitor several post-harvest activities.

Product improvement

Sandra Escribano, Post-harvest Researcher Enza Zaden USA: “Post-harvest data gives us good insights in the characteristics of our products. We use this information for the positioning and improvement of our varieties. It also helps clients to choose the right variety for their market. With the information we get from post-harvest research we can better attune our products to the end-consumers needs.”
