In this role you act as the global HR sparring partner for (senior) management of the Seed Operations division at Enza Zaden. This includes the sections of Seed Production, Processing, Supply Chain, Customer Services, Seed Technology and Quality Assurance. It is one of four Global HR Business Partner (HRBP) roles, next to the HRBP’s “on the ground”, both in the Netherlands and abroad.
You will be involved in business and HR strategy development, leadership and capability development to support the business in building a sustainable future. The Global HR Business Partner makes an important proactive contribution in supporting managers and developing leadership in order to realize optimal staffing for the long term. You are part of the Seed Operations leadership team and (pro-) actively supports the COO of Seed Operations and her team (A division of around 600 employees). Enza Zaden is growing fast. The sector, technology and competition are rapidly changing. Environmental challenges, Industry consolidation and Internationalization, Digitization to name a few. The organization, its leadership and talent are key to succeed in this fast-changing environment. It’s your role to guide these processes of transformation and change at all levels, especially on leadership level.
Apart from your role in the Seed Operations team, you will be part of the HR Leadership team where you will co-create the HR strategy and support the development of the HR function within Enza Zaden.

You are an innovative, creative and analytical thinker who aspires to deliver. You are a team-player that can work in a global organization and able to deal with people at all levels of the organization. Ensuring that deadlines are being met is what motivates you, and you like to work with processes and systems where quality, efficiency and process optimization are key words. Most likely you have some years of experience with project management and you have a good understanding of Supply Chain processes. Working with people that have a different cultural background or people that are not easily convinced about new ideas and changes is what you consider as an exciting challenge and your general HR professionality makes you ready to drive change.
In short, you:
- Have a minimum of 10 years professional experience and hold a University degree;
- Have proven stakeholder management capabilities at all levels;
- Are a team player with high integrity with a personal and professional point of view;
- Have strong affinity with the sector and experience in a Supply Chain environment will be an advantage;
- Are proficient in English and Dutch language
