Vegetable powerhouse

Spicy gazpacho smoothie

This vegetable powerhouse tastes wonderful as a snack, at lunch or even as a cold starter. The enormous amount of vegetables in a glass is an ideal source of your daily portion of vitamins and minerals.


  • 1 red sweet pepper
  • 1 tomato
  • ½ cucumber
  • 1 tbsp chopped onion
  • Small handful of basil leaves
  • 150 ml water
  • 1-2 tsp red wine vinegar
  • 1 tbsp olive oilFew drops of Tabasco


Sweet pepper and/or basil


Rinse the sweet pepper and tomato and slice into chunks. Slice the cucumber. Place the sweet pepper, tomato, cucumber and onion in the blender first and then add the rest of the ingredients. Add water if required. Blend until smooth. Pour the smoothie into two glasses and garnish with sweet pepper and/or basil.
