Sweet Basil smoothie

This early morning shake is tasty, convenient and brimming with valuable ingredients that are good for you. Basil not only brings a pleasing aroma and flavour - it is also relatively high in minerals such as calcium, potassium and magnesium. Drink smoothies – and particularly this one – as quickly as possible after preparation. They look their best and all the nutritious ingredients are at their peak.


  • 125 g blueberries
  • Small handful of basil leaves
  • 200 ml skimmed yoghurt
  • Juice of 1 orange




Rinse the blueberries. Place the basil, banana, yoghurt and orange juice in the blender. Blend until smooth. Pour the smoothie into two glasses and garnish with basil. Drink immediately.
