Melon tapa

Melon tapa

You will always score with melon, especially if you combine it with something salty like ham. Add variety to your appetizers by using 2 different types of melon. For a festive touch! And a delicious one at that.

Ingredients (for 8 appetizers)

  • 8 slices of coppa ham
  • ½ galia melon (or any other type)
  • ½ piel de sapo melon (or any other type)
  • Mint

How to prepare

Cut the melons in half and scoop out the seeds with a spoon. Cut the melon into 6 nice pieces. Carefully cut the flesh away from the skin. Cut the galia pieces in half and the piel de sapo pieces into quarters.

Place the melon onto the ham and roll up. Put a cocktail stick into each appetizer. Season with pepper and salt and some finely cut mint. If you like, you can sprinkle them with some thick balsamico cream
