We are currently seeking a motivated and enthusiastic worker to join our Pumpkin Breeding team in a casual capacity starting 15 December for a period of 3 months, however dates can be flexible for the right candidate.
If you are interested in research plant breeding, horticulture or just want to learn more about the seed industry, this is the job for you!
You will have strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn and be part of a dedicated team.
Enza Zaden is a global leader in vegetable seed production and plant breeding. We produce and sell seed of our own varieties all over the world, for both conventional and organic growers. With more than 2300 colleagues worldwide, we are working together breeding vegetables for the future. We aim to achieve healthy, tasty, and locally adapted vegetable varieties with higher yield and quality. Our Australian, Research and Development branch, is based in Narromine, NSW, and specialises in onion, pumpkin, lettuce, brassica, melon, and watermelon breeding and seed production.
The role is based at the research station in Pukekohoe, New Zealand. Pay rate of $23.00 per hour will apply.
