Exciting new addition to the Enza Zaden butternut range. This new variety boasts a robust and healthy plant that grows from semi-bush to vine. Vaiana is a medium maturing variety with excellent shape uniformity and high yield potential. This thick necked Waltham shape variety offers excellent internal quality with darker orange internal flesh colour and high Brix levels that surpass the average. The seed cavity is small with no greening. Vaiana has intermediate resistance to Zucchini Yellow Mosaic Virus (ZYMV), Watermelon Mosaic Virus (WMV) and Papaya Ringspot Virus (PRSV)
