Colourful, tasty and healthy. This salad is a classic and appealing to both kids and adults. A great dish to serve at parties, as a snack, appetizer or side dish, or at a buffet.
Serving 6 people
Mozzarella balls (3 per person)
2 teaspoons pesto (or more to taste)
1 tablespoon extra-virgin olive oil
Cherry tomatoes in different colours (6 to 7 tomatoes per person)
Cut the tomatoes in slices and quarters. Salt and pepper to taste. Then mix the pesto with the tomatoes and add the mozzarella balls. Add the olive oil and mix. Then grate the lemon zest over the tomatoes, tear the basil leaves into small pieces and mix everything together.
Divide the salad over the bowls. Add salt and pepper to taste and garnish with some basil.
