Enza Zaden has three branches in Spain: a commercial office and two breeding stations. We have been involved in breeding and selling vegetables in Spain since 1987.
From our commercial office in Santa Mª del Aguila, Almería we focus on the Spanish and Portuguese markets, and also on the Maghreb region - mainly Morocco, Algeria and Tunisia. Our commercial activities also extend to the markets in Senegal and Israel.
Our breeding activities in Spain are based in our research stations ‘La Manciega’ in Santa Mª del Águila, Almería and in El Albujón, Murcia. In Almería we concentrate on tomatoes, sweet peppers, cucumber and melon, while in Murcia we breed outdoor crops, mostly lettuce and endive.
