Early Short Day, white skinned onion. This variety has large (90 -100+mm depending on location, seasonal factors and planting date), uniform, globe - grano shaped bulbs with good colour and skin retention. It has good firmness and storage ability for this type of onion.  It has exhibited some good field Partial Resistance to Foliar diseases compared to many other varieties of its maturity class, and also has exhibited some field partilal resistance to Pink Root disease with a vigourous root system.Generally plant during Autumn in a wide range of latitudes from the tropics to 35+ degrees. Maturity time is 20 -24 weeks after seeding, depending on location, seasonal factors and planting date.
