A sweet yellow pepper might not sound revolutionary—but in 1980, it was! That year, we introduced Goldstar, the very first yellow sweet pepper in the Netherlands, transforming the market. Before its launch, a high-quality variety simply didn’t exist, leaving a wide-open playing field. Goldstar changed that, setting a new standard and paving the way for sweet pepper cultivation across Europe.
