Enza Zaden appoints Andreas Sewing as CSO

The Supervisory Board of international vegetables breeding company Enza Zaden announced today that Andreas Sewing has been appointed Chief Scientific Officer and member of the Board of Directors of Enza Zaden, with effect from 1 May 2023.

About Andreas Sewing

Sewing is currently Vice President Research & Development at BASF/Nunhems. Prior to this, he held various senior management and R&D positions at Bayer and Pfizer. He is a German citizen and received his graduate degree in Human biology from the Philipp University of Marburg and a PhD in Molecular and Cell Biology from the same Institute. Sewing also holds an MBA from the Open University.
