Tirreno

Tirreno has an excellent strong plant. Thanks to its late maturity cycle it is largely used as “logistic” melon. It produces round to slightly oval-round fruits with uniform sutures and a thick netting. Tirreno has a good inside quality with good flesh structure, although a slightly thick green rind. The taste and sugar content are very reliable and the fruits have a really good shelf-life.
