11 July 2025 News
This September, we proudly open our fields once again for Discovery Field Days 2025, a flagship event that brings together partners, growers, and industry professionals to explore the forefront of vegetable breeding. Taking place across multiple European locations, including Twisk, Enkhuizen, and Voorst in the Netherlands, Allonnes in France, and Dannstadt in Germany, this year’s edition promises a dynamic blend of innovation, insight, and collaboration.
At the heart of each event is the theme: “Resistance makes the difference.” This guiding principle reflects our long-standing commitment to breeding for resistance: an essential strategy in ensuring crop resilience, sustainability, and productivity in the face of evolving agricultural challenges.
Each location offers a unique focus and experience tailored to the needs of leafy and open field producers and industry professionals.
Through all the events, visitors will be introduced to our extensive lettuce portfolio, which includes varieties with full Bremia resistance and IR/HR resistance to Fusarium and an update on the Nasonovia Nr.1 resistance.
Discovery Field Days is more than a showcase of vegetable varieties, it’s about fostering meaningful exchange. Participants are encouraged to engage in open discussions about current industry challenges and future opportunities. All events foster a collaborative environment where knowledge, experience, and ideas can be shared freely among peers and experts alike.
To ensure a personalized experience, in most of the events, producers are invited to schedule one-on-one appointments with their sales representatives in advance, allowing for focused conversations. If you want to stay update on the latest innovations, Discovery Field Days 2025 is the place to be.
