Whether you're coming for a job interview, a work visit, or a technical assignment, we always look forward to seeing you! Since we work with plants and seeds in Enkhuizen, maintaining good hygiene is essential. We therefore have a few simple rules. Read them below to learn what to expect and what we ask of you during your visit.

A healthy environment starts at our gate.

Our plants and seeds are susceptible to external diseases. Viruses can enter via unexpected routes: a packed lunch, a handshake, or a tobacco product in your coat pocket, for example. That is why we ask that you pay extra attention to hygiene.

  • Disinfect your hands when entering a greenhouse, lab, or building.
  • Leave tobacco products such as e-cigarettes, rolling tobacco or chewing tobacco, at home.
  • Also certain vegetables are not allowed:
    • tomatoes, peppers, hot peppers, eggplants,
    • (water)melons, cucumbers, zucchini, and pumpkins (including the seeds),
    • goji berries / wolfberries,
    • also, leave behind processed products such as tomato sauce, sun-dried tomatoes, and pickles.

This way, we can keep our crops healthy and ensure that our colleagues can continue their work safely.

How your visit works

Please check in at our reception upon arrival. You will receive a visitor badge and will be met and accompanied by your appointment contact as needed. During your visit, you will never be alone on our premises or in our buildings. Your appointment contact will notify reception of your visit in advance.

Other useful information

  • You are welcome to visit us during our opening hours: 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
  • Meeting rooms and other facilities are intended for appointments with our employees only.
  • Some areas, such as labs, server rooms, and greenhouses, require permission to access.
  • If you need Wi-Fi, you can use our guest network. Connecting to the fixed network or using USB sticks is not permitted, except for maintenance work approved by ICT.
